Sending Data to Wisr: Deactivate File

A Deactivate Member File may be used:

  • When a Student has withdrawn their application for admission
  • If a Student communicates that they no longer would like to be part of the institutional marketing campaign/the Wisr Virtual Community
  • If a Student leaves an institution before an orientation session completes. 

The Deactivate file must include the following data points: 

  1. Unique ID
    • Important: This ID will be used for matching when sent back to Slate. 

File Requirements: 

  • Naming Convention: your_school_name- deactivate-%FT%T.csv
  • Encoding: UTF-8
  • Delimited (tab-delimited, CSV, etc.) 
    • Comma Delimited
  • Include Header Rows
  • Text Qualifiers: Double Quotes (")
