Case Study: Wayne State University
Wayne State University, located in the heart of Detroit, MI, is an R1 research institution with approximately 17,000 undergraduate students. Two factors led Wayne State to rely heavily on their physical campus: a large population of regional students who traveled to see it, and many first-generation students who benefited from seeing and feeling what the campus would be like. The rush to find a solution was doubled by the lack of a full-time staff member to handle the lift - they needed an autonomous solution.
